On Tuesday November 27th, as part of the Big 5 show events in Dubai , Emerson Climate Technologies hosted a communication session and luncheon in the Fairmont Hotel for their Middle Eastern customers. It was a mutually instructive and pleasant event which served to reinforce Emerson's presence in the region. Emerson was pleased to welcome many important allies in the region who were in town for the Big 5 show.
After a business overview from Emerson's head of Refrigeration Sales Mr. Heiner Lanz, the group was most intrigued by presentations from Emerson's regional head of customer engineering Mr. Roberto Helena and our White Rogers sales manager Mr. Karthik Krishnamurthy. Roberto laid out the training program for the region and explained the agenda for these sessions designed to improve our customer's technical skills.
Then Roberto explained the latest about what Emerson was doing in the struggle with the global warming threat where Emerson has already emerged as the industry leader in developing HVAC solutions that dramatically impact the problem. Emerson is quite proud of our global leadership role in this field as we prepare to launch numerous programs that push the HVAC industry even further ahead of the lead position which we have already taken globally.
The most spirited discussion of the day came when Mr. Krishnamurthy presented the Copeland/Flow Controls/White Rogers integrated products that move building management into a new generation of communication and comfort with energy efficiency. Of special interest and detailed discussion was the new Emerson Comfort Alert system which analyzes system performance and pinpoints the cause of an AC problem saving countless hours of system maintenance for both end customers and their maintenance contractors.
Upon concluding the presentation, the group retired to an elegant buffet luncheon sponsored by the hotel which was a most enjoyable feast for all. The meeting evolved into a relaxed but business conducting mode with several small groups huddled in important mutual business communications. In all, it was a good time for all. And productive too!
