Emerson™ CoolTools – for iPhones

Emerson Climate Technologies is launching a handy set of tools for compressor and condensing unit users. Ideal for engineers and technicians on the go, they can be downloaded from the App store for free and used at any time on your phone.

 

 

Select 8 is the online version of the Copeland Selection Software by Emerson Climate Technologies. It provides the choice of individual compressor or condensing unit performance at user conditions, as well as the essential features of the familiar desktop software.

  Quick compressor selection from a database covering all European Copeland™ brand product models can be made for any application using Quick Select. Choose a model from the list or just start typing the model name to find it, and the app gives the performance at the rating point appropriate for that model, refrigerant and power supply.
  Diagnostic information from the compressor’s CoreSense™ module can be immediately interpreted thanks to the CoreSense tool on your phone. This is a great tool for troubleshooting on the field.
  Choose the right condensing unit for cold rooms from our high efficiency ZX range by using ZX Slider. Choose the cold room volume and find the ZX unit and controls to match.
   The refrigerant slider of the PT Slider tool gives equivalent pressures or temperatures for commonly encountered refrigerants in an easy to use slider format. Flexibility between °C, °F, bar and psi enables interpretation of gauges almost anywhere and spares the need for a physical slider.
   FAQ gives immediate answers to the most common application questions relating to compressors and systems, with particular reference to Copeland Scroll™ and other Copeland brand products.
