Thermostatic Expansion Valves
Thermostatic Expansion Valves

Alco Thermostatic Expansion valves control the superheat of refrigerant vapor at the outlet of the evaporator and ensure that the rate of refrigerant flow into the evaporator exactly matches the rate of evaporation of liquid refrigerant in the evaporator.
Thus the evaporator is fully utilized and no liquid refrigerant may reach the compressor.

  • T-Series take-apart Thermo-Expansion valves with exchangeable power assemblies and orifices provide stable operation over a wide capacity range due to the large force generated by the large diaphragm.
  • ZZ-Series Thermo-Expansion Valves have been optimized for low evaporation temperatures from -45°C down to -120°C. They benefit from the same modular design as the T-Series.
  • TI-Series Thermo-Expansion valves with exchangeable orifices are the standard product for use in display cases. They feature a laser-welded diaphragm with large diameter for stable operation, high reliability and maximum life time.
  • TX3 and TX6 are hermetic Thermo-Expansion valves and mainly used in air conditioning systems and heat pumps. They feature internal or external equalizer and external superheat adjustment.

Alco Liquid injection valves of the L-Series and 935-Series are used for desuperheating of the compressor's suction gas and discharge gas respectively. They benefit from the same modular design as the T-Series, offer high reliability and long life expectation.
