On September 3, 2004, the California Energy Commission formally approved Design Services Network as a certified laboratory to perform testing of commercial refrigerators and freezers. this important laboratory accreditation allows Design Services Network to perform energy consumption tests to ASHRAE 117, ASHRAE 72, and ASTM F2143-01 and submit the results directly to the California Energy Commission. The tested energy consumption is compared to published energy standards, and refrigerators and freezers consuming sufficiently low energy are placed on an approved list by the California Energy Commission. This new laboratory approval enables Design Services Network to deliver more valuable testing services to our commercial refrigerator and freezer customer as they strive to reduce their total energy consumption.  >more
