Emerson Climate Technologies Expert Presents on Low-GWP Refrigerant Alternatives at Climate and Clean Air Coalition Conference in Bangkok

ST. LOUIS, September 12, 2012 –Dr. Rajan Rajendran, vice president of Engineering Services and Sustainability at Emerson Climate Technologies, a business segment of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), gave a presentation on Low-GWP (Global Warming Potential) alternatives for unitary and commercial air conditioning systems at the Climate and Clean Air Coalition Conference in Bangkok in July.

The conference was jointly sponsored by the United Nations, United States Government and The Alliance for Responsible Atmospheric Policy. It hosted leading industry experts, representatives from standards organizations, government officials and researchers from around the world to examine zero or low global warming potential alternatives to hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs).

Emerson experts have presented papers and led refrigerant discussions at a number of events recently including: Purdue University Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Conference, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 2012 Annual Conference, and the U.S. EPA GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration Partnership Webinar.
