— Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc
., a company of Emerson
(NYSE: EMR), announced it will present a number of educational sessions at ATMOsphere America 2015 focused on the significant environmental advantages of CO2 that have secured its position as a leading option for future refrigeration systems.
Among those is “Responsible Refrigerant Planning for Retail Enterprises,” which will be presented by Andre Patenaude, director, CO2 business development of Emerson Climate Technologies, on June 25 during the state of the industry session at 11 a.m. EDT. Patenaude will review the EPA delisting proposal and its impact on CO2 applications as well as energy implications for retailers.
“The Advantages of Using Electronic Controls in CO2 Booster Systems” case study will be presented by Reggie O’Donoghue, director of electronics product management, Emerson Climate Technologies Retail Solutions, during the case study session on June 25 at 4:30 p.m. EDT. In his presentation, O’Donoghue will highlight why food retailers’ desire to reduce the harmful environmental impacts of emissions found in traditional refrigerants has led to a recent increase in CO2-based transcritical systems in commercial refrigeration applications.
Don Newlon, vice president, refrigeration marketing and general manager, integrated products division, will discuss how regulatory changes and energy reduction goals are shaping the current refrigerant landscape. These led the company to develop its E360 knowledge-sharing platform and construct a state-of-the-art innovation center — the Helix — in Dayton, Ohio. His presentation will be given during the technical session on June 25 at 1 p.m. EDT.
Emerson is hosting the welcome reception at the Grand Hyatt Atlanta on June 24 at 6 p.m. EDT. This informal welcome reception is open to all ATMOsphere America 2015 attendees.
On June 25–26 during the two-day event, Emerson Climate Technologies will feature its ZO compressor, EX Series of expansion valves and controls, EX3 electronic expansion valve and CX valves.
