To position Vilter for future growth and opportunities, John Rhodes, president of refrigeration for Emerson Climate Technologies, announced the promotion of Matthew Toone as vice president/general manager of Vilter and Gregg Berres as vice president of global sales. Matthew Toone will be responsible for expanding sales and service channels globally, driving our new product development programs, and driving perfect execution, ” according to Rhodes. Toone will be reporting to Rhodes.
Gregg Berres, Deb Monnin, Tony Suslick , Wayne Wehber and David Fang will report to him, as well as the leaders of quality and oil & gas once they are identified and brought into the organization. John Barry, Donna Casey, Richard Cundy and Rachel Eibl will report to their functional leaders in Sidney with strong dotted line reporting to Matt.
|Toone started at Emerson in 2008 as a new product development manager. In 2010, he became director of business development & planning and was responsible for leading and managing the divestiture process. He came to Vilter in October 2012 as director, marketing & business development. In 2014 he was promoted to vice president of oil & gas. Since coming to Vilter, he has developed and led the global strategy for oil, gas and industrial refrigeration. He redefined the global go-to-market strategy to focus on end users and vertical markets. He identified the oil and gas market growth drivers which led to the creation and execution of the new Vapor Recovery product. Matt obtained his BS degree in computer science from Indiana State University.

Meanwhile, Greg Berres will be responsible for developing the strategies to support the globalization of the industrial business and to drive the sales efforts around the world. He will be reporting to Matt.
"His experience with solutions selling and global business acceleration will continue to help him be successful in his new role," Rhodes said.
Berres joined Vilter in October 2013 as director, industrial global services & solutions and has successfully developed new services and solutions and created executable business models for industrial compression. He graduated with a BS degree in engineering from the Univerity of Wisconsin. John Flynn and all other supporting sales resources will report to Gregg.
