LOUIS, January 22, 2009 – Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announced that its Educational Services Division has become certified by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) as an Authorized Provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs). IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations certified to offer IACET-approved CEUs for all current training programs as well as any created during the time of certification, for the next five years.

In order to achieve Authorized Provider status, Emerson Climate Technologies, Educational Services Division completed a rigorous application process, including a review by an IACET site visitor, and successfully demonstrated adherence to all IACET Standard Category elements. Going forward, Emerson Climate Technologies, Educational Services Division has agreed to comply with the IACET standard category elements, and will now issue the IACET name and logo on promotional course material. In addition, Emerson Climate Technologies, Educational Services Division is now linked to the IACET web site and is recognized as offering the highest quality continuing education and training programs.
