LOUIS, November 11, 2010 – Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc. a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR), today announced the appointment of Ed Blittschau to vice president of sales and marketing for the Flow Controls business, where he will have responsibility for all North America, Latin America and Asia sales and marketing. In his new role, Blittschau will be responsible for sales plans, forecasting & demand management, marketing, customer service, application engineering, and price plans for all Flow Controls products.
“Ed brings two decades of financial, business planning, marketing and business development experience to Flow Controls from his roles within Emerson Motors,” said Randy Nielsen, vice president and general manager. “His wealth of industry knowledge and experience leave him ideally suited to assume this leadership role within Flow Controls.”
Blittschau most recently was with Emerson Motors where, for the last five years, he has served as vice president business development and international for the Motors & Appliance business group. He has a BSBA degree in Finance and an MBA both from St. Louis University.
