Mushroom Farming
The preliminary stage of mushroom cultivation involves high temperature pre-cooling. Mushroom bags should be heated to 100°C and sterilized by steam. This requires a high temperature pre-cooling room that can provide clean and quick refrigeration to avoid recontamination and increase production.

Emerson’s Copeland Scroll™ ZB series compliance compressors were developed to answer the mushroom industry’s needs. They are specifically designed for use in medium to high temperature applications.

Copeland Scroll ZB compressors provide solutions via a tolerance for high temperature and good refrigeration capability. Emerson Climate Technologies’ professional technical team introduced compressor suction pressure limiting and cooling for high temperature pre-cooling storage.
