Emerson Launches New Service and Training Center

Boosts customer support while reinforcing the company’s commitment to the region by investing in infrastructure to support growth

Bangkok, Thailand – Emerson Climate Technologies opened the first Service and Training Center in Southeast Asia on March 5, thus reinforcing its commitment to the region while allowing the organization to address the growing and diverse needs of customers in the market.

The training center offers enhanced delivery services and world-class support to its partners in the refrigeration industry while guaranteeing the improvement of its technical support in the region.

In addition, the company offers its Emerson Climate Technologies Partner+ program, a platform specially crafted to address today’s market needs and support the development of today’s HVACR business. The Program focuses on key customer needs including but not limited to information, trained technician assistance and control expertise through its education package and post-sales service.

The Emerson Climate Technologies Partner+ education package includes comprehensive trainings in the company’s state-of-the-art workshop facilities to improve and warrant technical competence of Emerson engineers and its partners, who provide professional services in the market. 

The Service and Training Center contains proper equipment that allows for efficient knowledge transfer of technical know-how and essential troubleshooting techniques. Moreover, it enables delivery of multiple levels of support including education and training, high quality analysis of refrigerator and compressor systems and the provision of a service and repair facility for semi-hermetic and scroll compressors.

Located at its Rayong, Thailand facility, the center is the first out of the nine planned establishments that the company targets to accomplish by 2015. This will see the firm increase local presence and improve support of business partners’ expansion plans.

Emerson’s Rayong Center has been operating as a world-class scroll compressor manufacturing plant for the air-conditioning and refrigeration industries since 1997. Its operations have been extended to support the refrigeration cold chain and will now act as a Service Center to provide service and wholesale partners across Southeast Asia with first-class technical support and training for HVCAR engineers in addition to its current distribution center capability for the region. 

Emerson ushered in a new phase of energy efficiency for the HVACR industry 25 years ago with the launch of its Copeland Scroll™ compressor technology, transforming the global HVACR industry. This now serves as the foundation for the company’s initiatives to develop indigenous innovation capabilities to serve a broader segment of the HVACR market in Asia.
