2008
event
among a
panel of
recognized
industry
experts
addressing
environmental

Beeton’s
presentation
covered
the
inherent
importance
of
energy-efficient
HVAC
technology
and its
role in
reducing
global
carbon
emissions.
“At a
time

environmental
issues
are of
growing
significance,

energy-saving
technologies,”
Beeton
said.

Technology

event
that was
held the
first

Hynes
Convention
Center
in
Boston.
The
event
was
attended
by a
diverse
audience
that
included
representatives
from
international
business
leaders
such as
Toyota,
Intel
and GE
and
academic
institutions
such as
Harvard
University,
Cornell
University
and
Purdue
University.
Beeton
spoke on
a panel
that
also
featured
speakers
from
Intel
and Sun
Microsystems.
