RECIPROCATING COMPRESSOR

ST. LOUIS, June 23, 2008
– Emerson Climate
Technologies, a business of
Emerson (NYSE: EMR), today
announced the appointment of
Frank Landwehr to the
position of vice president,
marketing, Air Conditioning
Division and general
manager, CR Compressors LLC.
In this position Landwehr
will provide overall
guidance to CR Compressors
LLC while continuing to have
responsibility overseeing
the marketing and product
planning efforts for Emerson
Climate Technologies’ Air
Conditioning Division.

keen knowledge of our market

Landwehr has been with
Emerson Climate Technologies
for 21 years, holding
positions with increasing
responsibilities. Prior to
his current position as vice
president, marketing for the
Air Conditioning Division,
he was the vice president,
product planning for Emerson
Climate Technologies’
Refrigeration Division. He
has also held positions in
financial analysis and
purchasing.
Landwehr has a BS in
mechanical engineering from
the Missouri University of
Science and Technology, and
an MBA from Washington
University in St. Louis.
