LOUIS, March 7, 2008 – Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), announced today that the company has published an updated version of its Status of Energy Regulations for Commercial Refrigeration Equipment white paper for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), contractors and end-users in the commercial refrigeration industry. This paper is intended to raise awareness of industry-changing state and federal energy regulations while also offering solutions for energy-saving challenges.

By taking a comprehensive look at the latest state and federal regulations and ENERGY STAR policies for commercial refrigeration applications, the Status of Energy Regulations for Commercial Refrigeration Equipment white paper offers a new, updated energy-saving resource for the industry. It provides a concise, yet detailed, overview of relevant effective dates of energy-consumption standards for reach-ins, walk-ins, ice machines and display cases, as well as an overview of available incentives.
