EMERSON ACHIEVES 50 MILLION INSTALLATIONS OF COPELAND^® CR RECIPROCATING COMPRESSORS

 

Industry-Best, Proven Product Offering Expands With Copeland® brand CP8 R-410A Compressor

 

ST. LOUIS, December 14, 2007 – Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR) today announced 50 million installations of its Copeland^® brand CR compressors. The CR compressor is the HVACR industry’s best-selling reciprocating compressor, relied upon by contractors and manufacturers for its efficiency and reliability. In 2008, Emerson Climate Technologies will launch into production a new R-410A based platform of reciprocating compressors named CP8.  This new platform will expand Emerson’s R-410A line of Copeland compressors while providing customers another choice of technologies for their R-410A products.
