EMERSON CLIMATE TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NEW WIRELESS REMOTE SENSOR AND THERMOSTAT KIT FROM WHITE-RODGERS®

 

New Wireless Remote Sensor Packaged with Universal Thermostat Solves Hot and Cold Spots and Saves Installation Time on Every Residential and Commercial Application

 

ST. LOUIS (December 7, 2007) – Emerson Climate Technologies, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), today announced the new White-Rodgers^® Wireless Remote Sensor and Thermostat Kit.

 

The new 1F85RF-275 kit includes a universal thermostat for single stage, multi-stage or heat pump systems and a wireless indoor remote sensor. The remote sensor comes synchronized to the thermostat and can be placed up to 200 feet away. This sensor can be adjusted up or down by as much as four degrees at the remote location or, for public areas, can be locked out to prevent unwanted temperature changes. Temperature control can be prioritized or averaged between the thermostat and remote sensor.

 

According to Ron Miles, vice president of aftermarket sales for White-Rodgers, “The wireless remote sensor can be placed virtually anywhere in a home or business where hot and cold spots exist. By eliminating the need to pull wires through an existing structure it gives the contractor a simple, easy to install solution in a single universal kit that will ultimately create new business opportunities.”
