EMERSON CLIMATE TECHNOLOGIES INTRODUCES NEW VALUE-ADD SYSTEMPRO™ CONDENSING UNITS

New Value-Add Fractional Horsepower Condensing Units Deliver Time and Cost Savings and Better Quality for Refrigeration Applications

ST. LOUIS, January 12, 2007 – Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), today announced the availability of Value-Add SystemPro™ condensing units, the newest addition to their fractional horsepower condensing unit product line. The Value-Add SystemPro offering, already introduced in Canada, includes 26 condensing unit models, ranging from ¼ to ½ horsepower.

With factory installed, best-in-class EK filter driers and tri-color warning hermetic moisture indicators already in place, Value-Add SystemPro condensing units significantly reduce the amount of on-site supplies, materials, tube prepping and brazing necessary for contractors during installation. Unlike other condensing units, which require four braze joints for installation, the Value-Add SystemPro requires only one.  This feature preserves the integrity of the entire unit while saving the contractor time and materials. And, because the filter drier and moisture indicator braze joints are factory installed, sealed, and tested, fewer leak inspections are needed.

“The Value-Add SystemPro condensing unit is a great idea,” said Bill McMillen, vice president and general manager, TWC Services, Inc., Atlanta division.  “This approach is good for the contractor, the customer and the industry as a whole, making it a necessity, not an accessory. This product is a great fit for my business.”

The factory tested, compact design of Value-Add SystemPro condensing units provides higher system reliability and a solution to working in restricted spaces. And, the pre-installed protection devices offer additional benefits, including reduced installation costs and warranty expenses, and fewer call backs and jobsite problems.

“Contractors have been very receptive about the amount of time that this unit will save,” said Bob Labbett, vice president of marketing, Emerson Climate Technologies distribution services division. “Its compact design and superior functionality make it an all-in-one, ready to go package contractors can put right to work in the field.”

The wholesaler also benefits from reduced costs and fewer warranty claims. And, Value-Add SystemPro condensing units offer increased equipment reliability and reduced business disruption and equipment downtime for the foodservice operator.

Value-Add SystemPro condensing units are available to trade professionals nationwide.  For more information on Emerson Climate Technologies’ Value-Add SystemPro condensing units, please visit emersonclimatecontractor.com.
