Copeland Scroll cryogenic refrigeration compressors have been designed specifically to operate with helium refrigerant applications such as MRI machines and semiconductor or R&D applications requiring operating temperatures as low as -450^o F (4^oK).  With  fewer moving parts, scroll compressors are inherently quieter and more reliable than reciprocating compressors, while the Copeland Scroll proprietary design has demonstrated its exceptional performance characteristics and outstanding energy efficiency in the most demanding applications.

Two Copeland Scroll cryogenic compressor models are currently available: a 4-hp version with 13m³/hr displacement and a 6-hp version with 20m³/hr displacement.  Compressors offer a choice of operating voltages, (200-230/380-460 VAC) and are UL and CE approved.
