Mr. Akaniwan is a 1st Level Professional Civil Engineer and 2nd Level Professional Engineer specializing in the field of environmental engineering. While working as manager for the Environmental Engineering Department of the Environmental Engineering Consultants (EEC) from 1998-1999, he handled the expansion project for the Bangkok International Airport designing an upgrade system for the existing wastewater treatment plan with a capacity of 3,000 m3/day. After his stint with EEC, he helped establish the Special Projects Department for Chevalier Thailand Ltd. while promoting and marketing new German, Australian and American technologies to the Thailand market.
He continued to strengthen his experience and professional working as design manager for APAE Consortium during the design development phase of several activities in Suvarnabhumi International Airport, including the Cargo and Mail Commercial Services where he was a project leader.
In 2006, as project manager for EEC, he designed West Sands, a beach resort in Phuket, Thailand that garnered a Certified ranking in the LEED rating system.
He is currently the director for the QBIC System Engineering Co., Ltd. where he is able to handle projects like the Pakkret CO-OP Head Office Building in 2009, which was designed as an energy efficient building and the R&D department administration building for SCG Chemicals PCL in 2011 which garnered a Gold Level LEED rating.
