Manoj Chakravorti obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Calcutta and a Specialization in Air Conditioning from Jadavpur University. He has over 28 years experience in the field of Environmental Engineering encompassing air conditioning, ventilation, clean room, air pollution control, environmental impact assessment and environmental management plant. He is currently working in his own organization of engineering consultancy services.
Among the national projects he handled include HVAC system and environmental control designs for Currency Printing Press at Shalboni, Agni Launching Pad in Balasore, Inertia Instrumental Lab of Research Centre in Hyderabad, and the Antarctica Study Centre in Goa.
Mr. Chakravorti is a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Association of Ventilation Engineers, Calcutta Management Association and the Indian Plumbing Association. Currently, he is the President Emeritus of ISHRAE, Calcutta Chapter.
