Emerson offers three types of lighting sensors optimized for indoor, outdoor and skylight settings. These sensors detect light in and around different locations and can be connected to the E2 controller.
Indoor Skylight Light Level Sensor
The light level sensor provides the controller with information that allows it to dim lights or switch lights on or off. The specifications for the sensor are listed in the table below:
| Operating Temp |
13°F to 140°F (-11°C to 60°C) |
| Sensor Type |
Blue -enhanced Photo Diode |
| Input Voltage |
12 V DC from controller |
| Output Voltage |
0 V DC at full darkness to 9 V DC at full output |
| Operating Range |
10 to 1,000 FC |
| Accuracy |
+/- 1% at 70°F |
| Sensitivity |
Approx. 1 V / 175 FC |

Outdoor Light Level Sensor
This standard outdoor light level sensor provides the controller with information that allows it to switch light on or off. The specifications for the sensor are listed in the table below:
| Operating Temp |
13°F to 140°F (-11°C to 60°C) |
| Sensor Type |
Blue -enhanced Photo Diode |
| Input Voltage |
12 V DC from controller |
| Output Voltage |
0 V DC at full darkness to 9 V DC at full output |
| Operating Range |
0 to 750FC |
| Accuracy |
+/- 1% at 70°F |
| Sensitivity |
Approx. 1 V / 175 FC |
